Ok so my computer issues are fixed....I think....so what better story to start back up with than Brittany Lynn's Quest to find the perfect Brigade for the Mummers Parade this year!! After the huge success of the history making Drag Queen Brigade at last year's Mummers Parade, Brittany Lynn and a newly founded LGBT Liaison Committee, are looking for a few GREAT Queens to perform in the Fancy Brigade portion of the parade this year (or maybe I should say next year).
Brit and Committee will be holding pageants all over the city to find the right Queens for the job!
This week the pageant will be held at L2 Restaurant! For $20 you get a 3 course meal and a show!! If you are looking to just see the show that will cost you $7! Seating for dinner will start at 5:30 and the doors open upstairs for the show at 8pm! I hear there will be a special performance by Lisa Lisa!! This is a really exciting event that should not be missed! Brittany Lynn has done a lot to push the drag community into the limelight in Philly and this is just one more step forward! I cannot wait to see who will be marching and representing the drag community in the 2014 Mummers Parade!!!
