Philadelphia's newest and fiercest Drag Queens are invited to compete for the title of Philadelphia's Next Drag Superstar in a new drag competition that can best be described as RuPaul’s Drag Race meets The Voice.
We will review submissions and select 10 - 15 queens to compete. Those chosen will kick-off the competition on October 30th, that shows off their Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent for the audience and the mentors.
In the style of THE VOICE, if a judge likes your performance they will “Flip Their Wig” during your performance.
If 1 mentor selects you- you are automatically on their team.
If 1 or more mentor selects you- the mentors will plead their case as to why you should be on their team, and you will get to choose your mentor.
If no mentor’s select you will return for a 2nd chance performance after all contestants perform.
There are only 9 slots that will advance to the 2nd week.
ELIMINATION PROCESS
Each week contestants will face a new challenge. These challenges can range from performances based challenges, impersonations, sewing and more. The judges will offer feedback but will not vote. At the end of the show, the audience will vote.
Every person who attends Drag Wars will get a special ballot with their admission. At the end of the show, the queens will collect ballots. The top contestants will be safe and a winner will be announced.
The bottom three will be up for elimination via online vote. Voting will be open to general public for one week on PhillyDragopolis.com. The bottom three will return the following week, when the results will be announced.

The two contestants with the fewest online votes will then have to lipsync of their lives. Mimi Imfurst will decide who stays based on their performance. She will not have access to the results & will not know which of the bottom two had the most votes.
The eliminated queen will be invited to perform at the Dollhouse Revue the week of their elimination.
The contest will continue every Tuesday (no Show December 4th) through December 18th.
The grand finale will be at the Dollhouse Revue on December 19th.

The last queen standing will receive the title of Philadelphia’s Next Drag Superstar as well as a fabulous prize package that includes $1000.00 Cash, A Trip To Vegas, A Krylon Professional Make-Up Kit, Photo shoot with JHer Photography, a magazine spread.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Any drag queen does not serve as HOST for a weekly drag show in Philadelphia. You also may not be a regular cast member of The Dollhouse Revue or Sinful Sundays at Tabu.
All contestants must be 21 years of age.
