Circus of the Stars 3.0 Is Off And Running!!

Last night TABU's hit talent show Circus of the Stars returned with 3 weeks of preview shows before the actual talent show starts on September 11th!!  The show consisted of past competitors and some new contestants that will be competing in the future.  Nathan slipped right back into the role of Host with ease!  With a new body (which he showed off a lot) and confidence, Mrs. P is back!!
It seems like there will be a lot of drag queens competing this time around!  Which is great for my site because we can get a taste of new queens as they start their rise to fame!!  I got to interview Nathan Walk AKA Mrs. P about what we can expect going into Round 3!!  Somethings have stayed the same and somethings have changed!!  One of the biggest things that has stayed the same and which is a big draw for contestants is the amazing $500 grand prize!!!  So please, even though the deadline to sign up is past....I am sure if you contact Miss Brittany Lynn on Facebook they would love to accommodate you!!!  I look forward to see how this round plays out!!

PD:  So When Does Circus start back up again?
NW: The competition starts September 11th, however; we are doing three weeks of preview shows that starts August 21st.

PD: What kinds of changes can we expect?

NW: Without revealing too much, we are revamping some of the past seasons with some new, innovative ideas brought on by the shows newest producer Ian Morrison (Brittany Lynn) of Phillydragmafia.com. I am back hosting both as Mrs. P and myself, Diana Dharling and Di are both back as judges, as well as "Wheninphillygayborhood's" creator Ryan Breslin joining the judges panel.  Instead of an online poll we will be having a thing called contestant's row where the audience can vote for their favorite contestant that night during the show.

PD: What made you decide to host the show as Mrs. P This time around?

NW: I have gone through a lot of changes both mentally and physically this year, and it's helped me realize there is a true dichotomy of personalities constantly fighting inside my head.  I've gotten to the point where I love being Nathan as well as Mrs. P, where as before I used Mrs. P as a clutch to present myself to my fans. I've lost all the weigh and all the additional emotional padding that went with it.

PD: What kinds of talents are already booked?  Any returning contenders? What can we expect overall from this round?

NW: There is so much new talent arriving in the Gayborhood that seems to be happening on a daily basis-lots of queens, new singers, did I mention new queens? I am really excited for this season to see all the new talents being offered at Circus.  There will be some familiar faces from the past seasons competing again for the winning bragging rights and the $500.00 we are giving away! Look what it did for Jonathan Hernandez who sang at pride and Natalie Levant who has been getting booked for comedy talent all over the city. I would like to mention there will also be 2nd and 3rd place prizes, and how super excited I am for everything this season will bring to the TABU stage.  Look for our flyers (Photographed by PGN staff photographer extraordinaire Scott Drake) coming soon.

On a personal note I would like to say that I know a lot of people have come up to me about the show and even though I am no longer involved, I have absolutely regrets for being a part of it! Nathan and I started something that I feel is pretty special and I know Nathan and Brittany will continue to make it an amazing show for everyone and take it to new heights!!   I will keep referring people to Brittany, who is the show's new producer!  I wish EVERYONE involved with the show much success and longevity!  It really is a great experience that everyone should go check out!!
