Since I've Been Gone

So I have taken a bit of hiatus from the site getting prepared for The BIG Awards this weekend but now my faithful drag hags I am back!! So Let's take a look at some headlines I probably would have written about while I was away so that everyone is up to speed!

Diana Dharling stars in "Gimme A Break" (Que the Nell Carter theme music!) So it appears after some threats and an exhausting schedule, Diana has decided to take a much needed vacation from performing. Yes that's right she has cancel all summer engagements and return to the stage in the fall! The only things she will be doing this summer is The Return of Freaky Fridays to be at Venture Inn July 13! This show will be co-hosted by her PIC Mrs. P to celebrate Friday the 13th! We have all been waiting for this dynamic duo to bring back this show and the wait is almost over!

The Goddess Isis Gets Crowned Miss Philadelphia Gay Pride!  Last weekend Tabu Lounge played home to the Miss Philadelphia Gay Pride Pageant hosted by the Goddess Isis.  Due to the low turn out, some of the girls being extremely late and impressed with Isis's great performances, the organization, headed by the Gayborhood's Grand Dame Franny Price, the crowned went to Isis. The best part...Isis wasn't even competing! 

Is Aida Snatchwell Still Apart of The Dollhouse?  For the last 2 weeks Aida has been absent from the Dollhouse Stage and don't think people haven't noticed!  Did the 2 parties quietly part ways or is Aida also taking a short break?  In a statement made by Aida to me..."I am still a Dollstar, I have just been very busy lately"  Has Porcelain's very public fued with her finally taken it's toll?  Only time will tell!  She is still slated to appear at the RuPaul's DragRace Season 4 Smackdown THIS Saturday night.

Omyra Lynn's Dance Troupe "Vicious Delicious" Get Tweeted by Perez Hilton!  After appearing on the talent show Circus of the Stars, Perez tweeted about the group and posted a video of their performance!  The performance was from the Finale show where the group was competing to win the Grand Prize!  Unfortunately Perez called the show Circle of the Stars...

Sinful Sundays Becomes The Battlefield For Upcoming Drag Queens!  Ever since Isis started her "open call" for drag queens to come and perform we have seen some notable faces get their start here!  Robyn Kradles, Karma, Stephanie Chic and of course Porcelain.  Well there is a new girl on the block that made her debut this past Sunday....Lady Poison!  For her first time out she seemed very comfortable.  Dancing around and working the crowd, her makeup was great (which can be some new girls downfall) and the hair and outfit fantastic!  From talking to her I can tell she is hungry for more!  I can't wait to watch her grow and perfect her drag swag!!  Be on the look out!
