Well my little drag hags I can finally report on the newest feud going on in the Dragopolis since Circus of the Stars is over. Now to some part of this story may not be new but to others....HOLD ONTO YOUR WIGS its going to be a bumpy ride!! It appear that a one Miss Snatchwell, listed by me as an up and comer for 2012, is really trying to climb the drag ladder!! It is no secret at this point that she has pissed off resident "Queen of Mean" Diana Dharling (it was evident during Circus of the Stars) but it seems some of the other queens in town are taking her "imitating" them very lightly! Is it the sincerest form of flattery or just copying??
You might remember Aida who was taken under the wing of Miss Dharling early on in her career was then shunned and pulled out of all projects involving Diana including the upcoming Dragapalooza. She even changed her drag mother from a predominant West Chester Drag Queen Stella D'Oro to a very nationally famous Misty Maven! Now it seems she is getting under the skin of Satine Harlow (a past dollstar) and Satine is putting her on blast all over facebook!!

ReplyDeleteNo.. Not really. Just annoying and self centered like any 19 yearold would be.
ReplyDeleteToo many people are focusing on her age. We all know she's underage, but she's obviously doing something right to have gotten this far and to still be performing. So what if she's new? Every queen has been there, and knows starting out and making a name for yourself isn't easy. Imagine what it was like for some of us queens who started back when being gay was barely accepted, let alone dressing like a woman. It wasn't easy by any means, but we didn't give up. She has a passion for drag, or else she would have given up months ago. I've seen her perform at various places, and you can tell in her eyes that performing is what she lives for. She may not be perfect, but no queen is.

ReplyDeleteShe is no longer allowed in Voyeur, Tavern, Tabu, Woody's ICANDY or Venture until she turns 21.I'll rest easy along with everyone else who knows how terrible she acts for the next year and a half knowing that. Not that it matters she will NEVER be booked with an of the queens that run this town.
Maybe she should have been a little more humble, things could have turned out differently:)
My suggestion is she should move away and go back to Kansas.......
I believe it is very unfortunate that she may present herself in this light; you catch more bees with hunny. Though she may be someone to keep your eye out for, for the mere fact that she has started such a shake-up so early in her 15minutes.
