There's a New Queen on the Horizon!!

So my little drag hags I have been hearing a lot of buzz lately about this new queen called Aida Snatchwell, so you know me, I had to find out a little more about this new queen on the scene!

     Like a newborn baby Aida Snatchwell was conceived 9 months ago in a little place called Norristown right outside the city. She began her drag career performing at the Beagle Tavern where she began perfecting her craft. She was noticed quickly by Shelita Buffet who asked to perform with her, most notably in the city, at Icandy’s now defunct Candy Shoppe. More recently Philly Drag superstars Diana Dharling and Brittany Lynn, always on the look out for new talent, discovered her and asked her to be a part of Mr. Gay USA competition (which I heard she gave a great performance!)as well as the upcoming Dragapalooza.

     Aida has told me that she takes her inspiration from (locally) Cherry Pop and Manilla Luzon. “They have all given me great support and advice to help me create myself and keep it polished.” She gets her inspiration from style and music and prefers to perform Broadway (Diana must be so happy to have another Broadway diva in the midst) and pop music. Some favorites include: Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga of course! “I love the way fashion and music speaks to people and he helps me create a new an exciting visual for the public.”
The queens in the city better watch their backs! This new girl considers herself a triple threat! She can dance, act and yes she SINGS too!! This is one queen I cannot wait to check out!! She is on the rise!!
