The end of Freaky Fridays

Could it be the end of Freaky Fridays before it even began…again? It seems the Regina George of the Drag World, a Miss Diana Dharling has struck again. Her target this time was the outrageous Mrs. P! Long time friends Mrs. P and Diana had a very successful show at the now defunct Q Lounge. Now while their acts are completely different, put them together and it was a match made in heaven or maybe hell!! They were all set to move their show to Venture Inn starting in July. An inside source to remain nameless said that the show was on a trial basis to see if they could bring in a crowd. Was it creative differences that brought the show to its knees? Well that could be one of the battles but the straw was that broke the camel’s back was a friendly ultimatum. Angry about Mrs. P’s association with the show she so abruptly left over a month ago Diana had one simple request….stop doing the Sunday show or any other show dealing with the Sinful Sunday girls or she was done with their show at Venture. In Diana’s opinion they were trying to bring her down. Completely shocked by the request Mrs. P decided to pull the plug on the show before it even started up again. “I will not be threatened or contained. I do shows that I want to do because I love to perform!” I don’t think any of us saw this coming!! Mrs. P is currently shopping around a one woman show. And it is rumored to be at Venture Inn starting in September!
Diana has told me that she left Sinful Sundays because the situation there had gotten “toxic” and she just needed to leave. She has since taken a vacation to Fire island to clear her head. Let’s hope she came back well rested and ready to kick some broadway ass! Diana is strong willed and professional performer and I know we have no seen the last of this Diva. Stay tuned my little drag hags I smell something big on the horizon for both of them!!
